Plague Psalms is a dark fantasy music project built around ruin, ritual, and imagined devotion. It blends cinematic atmosphere, choral textures, and heavy worldbuilding into a body of work that feels less like a playlist and more like a scripture recovered from a collapsing world.

Created as a personal worldbuilding experiment, the project explores how music, imagery, and narrative can merge into one immersive artifact. Each piece acts like a fragment from a lost mythology—part lament, part invocation, part soundtrack to a plague-era hallucination.

Grim dark, atmospheric, haunting, choir, medieval fantasy
The visual and sonic direction draws from medieval decay, abandoned sanctuaries, plague folklore, and apocalyptic fantasy. Instead of treating the music as a collection of isolated tracks, I approached it as one continuous atmosphere shaped by dread, silence, procession, smoke, ash, and ritualized beauty. The result is a project that lives somewhere between an album, a fantasy relic, and an audiovisual mood piece.

Beyond the music itself, the project also became an exercise in tone-building: defining a consistent emotional language across sound, imagery, naming, and pacing. Every visual decision was made to reinforce the same feeling—the sacred rendered unstable, the beautiful made ominous.
